Since 2009, the Uri Museum Conference has organized a Museum Night at regular intervals. The next Museum Night will take place on May 29, 2026. Visitors can explore museums in the Uri lowlands on two guided tours. The "Journey Through Time" tour includes visits to the Haus für Kunst Uri, the Uri Historical Museum, the Uri Natural History Museum, and the SBB depot in Erstfeld. The “Uri Tour” includes the Mineral Museum and A Pro Castle in Seedorf, as well as the Tell Museum and the Dörflihaus Museum in Spiringen.
Selected museums are also open outside of guided tour times. Tickets for the guided tours are available at the office of the Uri Museum Conference.
Previous editions were themed “Sound Trails” (2009), “Legends & Myths” (2012), “Landscape of Memory in Transition” (2015), “Nature and Cultural Landscape” (2018), and “Transit at the Gotthard” (2022). The next Museum Night is planned for 2026.
