The Kellertheater im Vogelsang (KiV) is a small theater and exists since 1969. It was established by the cabaret "Chyybäderli" from the canton of Uri, which also founded the operating association Kellertheater im Vogelsang. In two old cellar vaults events of various styles take place. The location is used as a theater stage for small theater, children's theater and concerts. The maximum number of spectators for theater performances is 112 people, for concerts without seating about 200 people.
The team, which organizes events on a voluntary basis, consists of around 40 people. It is divided into working groups (children's theater, theater, music and board), hires artists and organizes the respective event. The KiV season runs from September to June, with three programs of eight to ten events each.
