The Cinema Leuzinger in Altdorf has existed since 1963. In 2008, the cinema was extensively renovated. The traditional cinema convinces with a varied program and belongs to Altdorf like the Tell monument. Besides current films, the Cinema Leuzinger shows a studio film series with more demanding films. Furthermore, the cinema is the venue of festivals, the children's film program "Zauberlaterne" or film premieres. The cinema hall offers space for about 300 people.
