Erstfeld - the starting point of the legendary Gotthard mountain route. From April to October, SBB Historic opens the doors of the historic locomotive depot in Erstfeld on the first Saturday of every month. Learn more about the fascinating history of the Gotthard railroad in the "Berg.Strecke." exhibition, marvel at legendary locomotives during fitness rides and get to know them up close on a guided tour of the vehicles. On request, we can also offer you and your group private discovery tours.
